Who’s Sivek?

Susan Currie Sivek, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor and Graduate Coordinator in the Mass Communication and Journalism Department at California State University, Fresno. She earned her master’s degree and doctorate from the School of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Sivek currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in multimedia communication, writing and research methods. Her research interests include social media and journalism, magazine journalism, and political communication. She is originally from San Antonio, Texas, where she attended Trinity University and received a B.A. summa cum laude in English.
