Susan Currie Sivek
Susan Currie Sivek, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor in the Mass Communication and Journalism Department at California State University, Fresno. She earned her master’s degree and doctorate from the School of Journalism at the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. Sivek currently teaches courses in mass communication, writing and editing. Her research interests include media and communities, political communication, and media and geography. She is originally from San Antonio, Texas, where she attended Trinity University and received a B.A. summa cum laude in English.
